Reliable .NL registrars

I need to buy a .NL domain, an extention I have no previous experience with.

So who can recommend me a reliable .NL registrar? The prices at the US based registrars I use are a bit too high for me. But, I also don't need the very lowest prices. What I look for:
- reliable, stable registrar with a good support
- free URL forwarding and email forwarding
- good security against domain theft
So I rather pay some euros extra for good service instead of going with the very cheapest.

Any suggestions from really good .NL registrars?

PS: I speak Dutch so local registrars are OK as long as they are reliable.

It's only EUR 4.99 a year, I have used them before and they are very okay in my opinion.
For a free forwarding you have to open a ticket, although response was very fast in my case.
It's a local registrar, so all information is in Dutch, although that's no problem for you

4,99 per year seems almost too good to be true. Their pricing for all extentions are incredibly cheap ; how do they keep their services going? But the offer obviously is interesting so I emailed them to check the responsiveness of their helpdesk.


Other registrar suggestions are welcome please I plan to compare registrars for only a couple of days and hope to register the domain before the weekend at the place that strikes me as most reliable.

A .com is EUR 5.99 a year, it seems cheap, although in dollars it's around $8.70 and compared to for example Godaddy it's less cheap then it looks.

Their prices for .eu and .be for example are very low, and those for .de incredibly low. But seems the company is backed by Mamut, which has a reputation of being reliable.

Anyway, if anyone has other recommendations or comments regarding .NL registration I'd like to hear as I hope to complete registration before the weekend.

Very helpful sales staff and just good people!

Pricing for a .nl domain is €9,50 EUR - if you're doing large volumes i would contact them and see if you can work out a deal.

thanks Damion but they seem not so update....they still talk about .eu when tomorrow the numeric .nl landrush will start

Yes, on the English version of the site, on the Dutch version they do mention the numeric .nl release.

I wouldn't let that be a factor to influence your decision.
I've had numerous occasions where i had received great support.

If you want a solid and reliable registrar that gives good support then that is the registrar for you. :tu:
