Registering a.cv domain

Hello everyone!

Can anyone share an experience with registering a .cv tld?

As far as I understood I need a trademark valid in Portugal that is the same as the desired domain name. As Portugal is in Europe Union - a EU trademark could be a warrant to register a .cv domain?

Should I consider regiostering a trademark or are there other ways to get a .cv domain?

I am not sure local presence is required, otherwise you might need a TM. In all circumstances, the chosen domain name should match personal/entity/TM name.
Best would be to contact the registry for clarification, unless you are fluent in Portuguese.
