Today i received a letter from registerfly

Sent : Saturday, July 17, 2004 6:35:38 AM
To: -----
Subject : Free Web Site expanded to 25MB!, $6.00 domains, $7.99 domain renewals, FREE Whois Protection, Phone Support Options and more

But when i go to their website and want to register a domain is shows like this
Domains available for registration:
bvkjabkbak.com is available $9.99 / year

Why?
Is this a fake letter ?

The ones that are cheaper aren't the dotcoms but they have weekly specials all the time for $7.99 dotcoms. As a matter of fact, they have one on right now. I might add that GoDaddy has $6.95 dotcoms on now until the end of July. That's a great price.

RegFly sends you the codes to enter with your e-mail.
Just login & enter codes & they will alter your price. I have used them for 3 years now. Not a fake.

After you login...halfway down...just above "My Stats" there is a place to click on promotional codes for: domains, transfers and renewals (I believe).

Yeah, the transfer cost is pretty good as well considering that they add on an extra year.
