Redirect to index.php

I'm having some problems with my website. For some reason my site's google ads aren't showing up at

http://www.example.com/

but can be seen without any problem at

http://www.example.com/index.php

I would like to setup the site so that when visitors type in;

http://www.example.com/

they get redirected to

http://www.example.com/index.php

How do I go about doing this? Appreciate any help..really need it.

Here we go:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^index.php$
RewriteRule ^$ http://domain.com/index.php [L,R=301]

Dump that into your .htaccess, just tested it as im not good with .htaccess and it works fine.
