For changing text color, link color and etc, you need to edit this file.

Many designers do not like to participate in contests for designing an entire site because it is to risky to have to design an entire site and take up your time when it's not even guaranteed that the design will win. I'm not sure if i will take part of this contest, however, if you will like me (or any other designer) to design your site privately, just send a PM.

I have some problems with bandwith with my server, the website should be up now.

Well this not exactly a full redesign, you only need to play with css, create a new logo and come up with backgrounds.
