I was trying to register a .mobi using the coupon code for the happy hour offer. An error message was telling me that coupons cannot be combined with tiered pricing. I had to actually call support at mydomain.com and have them manually give me the discount. If anyone else is having the same issue, calling mydomain will be your best bet.

I just used it with no trouble at all, though MyDomain is apparently cursed with the same annoying billing process as Dotster and never fails to freak me out when I complete an order using a coupon. The system always initially sends an invoice showing the complete purchase price without the coupon applied, but I think that's just a validation amount that they run on the credit card. 9 out of 10 times the amount I'm eventually charged ends up being correct.

Im still deciding on which name to register but i will only do it at the discounted price.. $29.90 is way too high for .mobi

I just noticed that I got the coupon on my dotster account by mistake, and when I use it there it gives me 25$ after the discount, when I tried to use the coupon on my mydomain account it didn't work, what can I do?

Something is up with this offer. I registered by phone because my coupon would not be accepted on the net. The rep. told me to register the name at full price and he would take care of the discount. They emailed me with the discount being only $9.98 on a $29 dollar purchase. This is no where near $4.99. I had to call again to get this corrected. I guess will see if it is corrected when I get the bill.

Hopefully it will come out to $4.99 like everyone says. I know when Dotster runs coupon specials, the authorization at the full price stays on your account for a month.

I registered my domain at dynadot.com for $29.98 but, their service is A++++++ also dynadot gives 120 hours to delete the domain for credit.

Sorry but you missed the promo. It was a 1hr promo yesterday for the $4.99 mobi, only 500 coupons were available.

Sign in to mydomain.com, select "My Coupon". Use that coupon to purchase, then you are entitled for 4.99/2years.

After the purchase, you need to wait for them to complete your order, otherwise it is 29.99 intead of 4.99 appeared in your invoice.
