As a card-carrying math geek, I think I agree with Jeff on this one, although I would put the price higher (because I am a math geek). I use the terms "recomputed" and "recalculated" frequently, in both informal and formal speaking. For example in a powerpoint you might hear something like "In this slide we have recomputed the positions of the targets". I tend to use "recalculated" more frequently, which agrees with the Google stats and Jeff's comment:
