i am starting a web design business and was wondering if you guys could recommend sites where I can download/buy a CD of high quality photographic images (mainly corporate) to use for my templates.

yes theres loads like that on sxc.hu .. just go to the people section or computer section and sort by downloads (so you can find good ones) or simply search business man or computer

the best in the realm of stock photo archives is getty images.

and if you want a white background, you can easily crop that photoshop.
