hi, I'm trying to setup a new domain

chunky.me

Ive change the nameserver info and set up the hosting.

but something strange seems to be happening. It seem like the hosting is not connecting with the domain, if that's possible.

ive used the same process with many .coms and co.uk, nets and mobis. could it be the .me extension?
anyone know whats going on

cheers

When you say you have "set up the hosting" what exactly do you mean by that? :)

If you are on a VPS/dedicated/reseller, have you added the account via "Create a New Account" in WHM?

If you are on shared, have you added the domain as a parked domain in WHM?

Please use the Bind DNS Manager to edit/delete the zone for this domain.

Okay, so under "List accounts" it does show up the domain, right? So you've created the new account but then there's a DNS issue?

If so, do you have the option "DNS Functions" on your WHM homepage? If so click on "Edit DNS Zone", select the domain in question (chunky.me) and click to edit it.

You should see two rows (usually at the very top) that will say:

chucky.me. 86400 IN NS [nameserverOne].
chucky.me. 86400 IN NS [nameserverTwo].

Where [nameserverOne] and [nameserverTwo] are replaced accordingly. Do you see these?

If so, make a note of these nameserver values. Then go to edit another domain (i.e. one that does work) - do they have the same nameserver values?

i just get this error

ERROR Cannot enable zone management for the site as it is disabled for the reseller.

ERROR Failed to update the site.

Hmm - that's odd. I'd personally contact your host then; you should be able to access that. Either way, ask your host to set-up/fix the nameservers on that name if needed.
