hi Guys

I need some good tricks!

My company website (www.squareconcept.com) has been optimized for search engines. The indexing by google is getting stronger everyday. The googlebot visits my site frequently.

But the page ranking doesnt want to increase!

How can I do this faster.....any ideas?

P.S. Please criticise my site. I treat it as help!

Page ranking depends more on the sites that are linking to you, possibly even more so than the content of your page. Increase your link popularity by getting other sites to link you and you'll gain page rank.

if, as you've said you've already optimized for search engines.. the thing to focus now would indeed be getting those links to your site; and where possible, from other sites that have high pageranks/linkpops.

While getting as many as you could would help; you'll probably fare better focusing on the "quality" of those links in getting (even if fewer) sites with higher pageranks than many sites with very low PR ratings.

Also, try to keep the sites related in content, or at least semi-related (e.g. "web design" and "graphic arts")

Create a resources page, link to it from the bottom of your home page and then find related web sites like mine to trade links with:)

There are many sites that would appreciate links from your page and who would link back to yours... search in Google and then ask to trade links! :)

web design is very competitive. Make sure your not going for a crazy keyword like "web design" or something like that.
Even though it doesnt matter much these days, add your meta keywords and meta descriptions.

most important is inbound links with the proper keyword as the ancor text.

good luck
