a little steep for someone who wants to keep it as an investment. I would say mid xxx max atm for md.

I say, it will depend on the buyer. I can't believe it going below X,XXX.
Estimated range $1,500 until $10,000 depends on buyer. It is one letter which is a "Wow!".. Yes, It's MD but whatever. Even if were to read it Rmd.. it becomes abbreviation .. Google "rmd". That is not the point now, the most likely sale point is around $4,000 -$5,000 in meantime.

Yes, very.. like in other poor third world countries

Probably worth around $1k, but that's quite a long term investment. I dont see .md domains becoming popular any time soon

I think this domain in question has two very strong points in favour:

The usage - R.MD (Rx.MD)
The length - Just one character!

The future is all about depletion of resources. Time would come (how soon I dont know) when this domain would help your children retire early

But then, that's what I think.

I am wondering, what could you have bought for 1k worth (presuming you paid that money to get this domain) - a top notch .in or .us or .tv? Or even a two word combo .com or just 100 hand regs?

Don't intend to make you feel bad, but it is a good way to evaluate investments.

In the stock market this fundamental is called HEDGING.
