R.I.P. "Doc" Watson

The music world lost a true treasure yesterday with the death of legendary bluegrass guitarist "Doc" Watson.

He invented "flatpicking", which literaly gave birth to the guitar as a lead instrument, instead of regulated to the background.

Many great performers, from bluegrass, country and even rock icons admired and studied Docs style and performances.
