Quick Sedo Question.

I have a quick question about Sedo's offer/counter offer system.

Let's say I am offered $200. I counter $1000 and they accept the offer.
Am I given a chance to push the domain to auction, or is that an outright sale?

I have always been on the other end where I end up deciding to take the offer, or push to auction.

Just wondering what happens if they accept the counter offer.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Brad

You can`t push to the auction if you make counter offer, you need to choose between these two options. You are obligated to sell if they accept that offer, or you can start an auction after they make you new offer.

Thanks for the answer. The reason I ask is because I am getting close right now on the price, but I would probably push it to auction with a slightly lower starting price with a chance of finding an end user for a domain like this.

Thanks,

John Doe explained it pretty well, but here's another way of looking at it:

You can only push to auction immediately following an offer from the potential buyer. That means if they accept any offer throughout the transaction, that's the final sales price.

Also, if the potential buyer sends you an offer that you counter but the potential buyer does not counter back, you can't push to auction unless the potential buyer counter-offers.
