I`m currently watching a domain that is in redemption period status and I have a quick question since I searched around and couldn`t find a real answer.
The domain in question has the following info (from whois.sc):
ICANN Registrar: INTERCOSMOS MEDIA GROUP, INC. D/B/A DIRECTNIC.COM
Created: 17-jan-2004
Expires: 17-jan-2005
Status: REDEMPTIONPERIOD
My question is how long will it be in redemption period? I read on the directnic site that it will be in that status for 30 days from the expiration date but it`s clearly been more than 30 days and it`s still in the same status. Also how long will it last in pendingdelete?
I read somewhere that domains drop at 2pm eastern time...Does directnic have any sort of private drops or back ordering service like other registrars?
