Quick Question about Afternic Bazaar

Hi, I had an accout at NameBuySell.com for a while and thus when they became the new Afternic my account moved there and thus I have some Bazaar Bucks.

Am I only able to use these to list auctions or can I pay for auctions with them?

And second, I paid for a Life-time accont at NameBuySell.com so is it fair to ask for a life-time account at Afternic for free? Seems only fair cause that is what I paid for.

As far as I know you can only use them to list names and not buy names. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

I've accepted them as payment towards a domain before - but realize that was after the person asked me.. It was a $9.99 domain and they asked if $5 + 10 Bazaar bucks was OK and I accepted it.

You can buy/sell them like NP$ I know...

But they are not worth $1 a piece... from 30 cents to a dollar, I believe, depending on volume...

But the seller would have to agree to it I'd think and the buyer would be committed to pay US$ on demand.

I suppose anything is possible. They could even be used here to buy a name if the seller was willing to accept them as a payment.

Re: Quick Question about Afternic Bazaar

As namebuysell.com and the "new" Afternic.com, we have never offered lifetime memberships. They have always been annual.

Proproject I am pretty sure when I bought my membership it was for a lifetime. I will check if the topic still exists on the site you sold me the account on, if its annual my bad, I will buy a new one, but I'm pretty sure it was a one-time only payment.

EDIT: My bad the thread did state that is was for Annual Memberships, sorry for the confusion. I will defintley be renewing my membership in the near future :)

Darkfire001, you are gracious. Even though I was kind of short in my reply - sorry, I was having a busy moment. Glad to count you as a member. We will do our best to put your membership fee to good use, providing support, enhancing the site, motivating partners to refer other members to buy and sell, etc.

Most sellers don't realize how much we do with their fees to help sell their domains. Here's a mini update. Now that they changed their implementation on their website from a popup to static links on the search results page, Register.com is fantastic at referring qualified buyers. When a new buyer member joins they receive a personal email that includes both an email address and phone number of a customer service rep who can help them with any questions about using the site or negotiating for a domain. It is a lot of work, but this extra hand holding is translating into a lot more buyers who are more at ease about making offers. Sales are greater than ever. $196,000 so far this month with one day left to go.

Thanks again for being a member.
