I don't know how most people make logos.

My quickie uses word art in microsoft word, shaped etc. to look good, pasted into Irfanview, resized to suit then saved as a jpg.

If people have other quick and easy methods, please tell.

whatever works IMO. I use Freehand, Fireworks and Photoshop but I wouldn't buy them just for making little jpg logos. I've heard good things about GIMP, but I've never used it. It is an open source image manipulation program found at gimp.org

Theres actually a mobile image format .wbmp I found a free creator but haven't unzipped it yet in fact not even sure where I downloaded it to and from. If I figure all that out I'll post.
