I need to refresh the page when a user selects a certain form entry. That part I've got down. But I also need to to keep all the form data that's been entered already, any idea on how I would do that?

well u cud set them as temporary cookies or something, but that would make ur site SLOW.

i would advise making it so that the parts that get updated are purely variables so they get updated whenever a user chooses an option.

assuming u want a page kind of like all the computer companies (dell, apple) have when u are "customizing your own computer". u choose ur specs and the price updates automatically.

I'd use ajax just to update the specific area needed and leave the rest in tact.

Have the things you need to load, already there but hidden.

When they select whatever option, it just shows what it is.

How would I do that? I don't consider myself Javascript-literate. :)
