Quick Flipping Strategy

Has anyone ever picked up several decent domains with coupons just to turn a quick profit? Would something like this work?

I've been wanting to give it a go with something like Godady 7-day auctions to try and pick up a few hundred dollars.

Then from there use the money to invest in a premium dropping name or something of the sort.

I've also read a lot about domaining becoming less valuable. What is the reasoning for this?

It's an increasingly extremely! competitive industry, so getting harder to make money doing it. The demand is increasing also, but not at the rate of competition among domainers.
