Questions on getting data from a name server

I'm just wondering... sometimes on my site, i get you have exceeded your query limit error. But only when its registered by name cheap. Could this be because my server's ip has requested too many queries?

Any information on this would be great

yes, some sites limit the amount of querys you can make to thier server in a certain time period.

re-code your query tool to connect to a proxy before querying the nameserver..

Or there are services out there that for a fee will let you to query thier server without restriction not sure if namecheap offer this..

i was thinking about that because proxy doesnt have a ip do they? :d

Yes a proxy has an IP, but its different from your hosts IP, if you have multiple proxy's you will be able to use the proxy's ip address to query the server rather than your hosts IP address.

This means the ip address querying the server will change with each proxy you use.. should be enough to keep that limit at bay!

I've heard people searching GoDaddy with another service has had the same problem. Not sure of a solution except to wait!
