Question - Online Applications

Hi,

Up to this point, I've never dealt with programming or databases.

Does anyone know of any software programs that will allow me to create an online application that my visitors can fill out and submit. Once this application is submitted, I would like to retrieve the info through the database interface.

Also, if I wanted to submit this application to someone else, how can this be done?

Small applicaition

What you need is a very simple custom application to save form data to a database. Complexity of the application depends on the amount of data you want to capture. If you need someone to write this for you, let me know. I could help you out pretty cheaply. If you are attempting to do this yourself, I will try to provide you with any info you may need.

Thanks for the reply. The reason why want to learn this on my own is because I want to be self-sufficient in running my websites.

there are number of free applications the will generate scripts for you automatically. What you have to do is just work on that application on what you want.

Since you havnt any experience in this, i would first advise you to learn html. once you get that, you can make your own form pages. then you should learn php (because its so easy) as well as mysql.

once you learn those three things, ur well on ur way to makin ur own forms. its quite easy. if u have any questions, feel free to post here, there are many ppl here to help you
