Question on Arcade Sites.

I have a question on the various Arcade scripts for sale out there - they give options to buy packs of games anywhere between 50 and 1750 games. Who creates these games and are they being used fully legally? Assuming that the games are written by various people and released publicly, what do they get out of it? Or are there groups of people creating flash games and selling rights to them to the arcade script sites?

Would like to understand more about these sites before adding one as a distraction for players of Aardwolf (already registered Aardcade.com to keep with the theme). Appreciate any advice / info given. Thanks.

As I own my own arcade site, I was also a little cautious about it at first. I believe the only good thing they get out of it is that a good 95% of the swf files contain links to the website of the game-maker(s). For example "click here for more games".
