domain QUESTION: Do German .com domain names have any value?

Think along the lines of German for words like Forest.com, Ocean.com etc, just in German


single word german .com domain names are what I am curious about. I know that .de is successful over there and was wondering if they actually value .com domains or if they actually prefer .de

If anyone has any idea I would greatly appreciate it.
