How much does a good .biz or .info domain go for?

I mean a name like goodvalue.biz or sellingcars.info

The name must fit the TLD.
goodvalue.biz is reg fee.
sellingcars.info is low$xx.

Go take a look at dnjournal .com. You can see the top amounts domain nbames have sold for recently. Duke does a great job finding most of the sales. I think there have been more .info sales recently as they are much more popular in Europe. But, there have been a few .biz sales of note. It all depends on what's before the dot.

It also depends on the status of the same name in other TLD's. The following factors can increase the value:

  • All other gTLD's taken.
  • Some or all of the other TLD's actually developed (not PPC or for sale)
  • You have both the singular and plural versions
  • There is a business use for the domain (a must for .biz)
  • The fewer alternatives for the name the better
  • The larger the market the better (a plumber or exterminator is more likely to use a .biz than an architech or TV station, and there are more of them)
