Question about WordPress - Adding a banner...

Hey there,

I need a helping hand with something that should be rather simple but I cant figure it out.

I want to add 4 banners 125x125 to my new site.

On those banners I want to make them clickable to my the sites they represent.

I thought it would be easy, like just a browse button in my WP panel and then adding a link but its not.

The pix I want to add are in my computer, but there is no "upload from your computer" button. It looks as if they have some weird code that I need to enter for me to add a picture.

Use the media -> add new option to upload the files. Then separately create a text widget with the correct html code pointing to your uploaded files. I'll grant you it requires basic html knowledge.

You can do this the easy way. You can look for a wordpress theme with four 125x125 banners as you needed and the setting will automatically appear in your in your settings page.

Another thing to try is installing a banner plug-in that can do this for you (again: automatically).

Alternatively, to make it easier, you can use the plugin WPX Affiliate Manager ( http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wpx-affiliate-manager/ ). It is free and you don't have to touch coding.
