Thanks to the active membership of NamePros.com, I've learned a lot about domaining.
Among other things, I've learned that NameDrive.com and Sedo.com are two of the best places to park one's domain. I've parked about 20 domains with NameDrive, and I thought I'd try Sedo.
The first domain I parked on Sedo was AmandaByrnes.com--a slight misspelling of AmandaBynes.com, a young female star of the new movie "Hairspray."
I checked the relevant boxes and included a couple of links--which did appear: "Hairspray," the movie & Amanda Bynes. However, 5/6's of the page included links for X-rated sites--which are not the kind of links younger fans of Amanda Bynes would like.
In fact, I've had 33 Unique Views and only 1 click. I e-mailed Sedo, and they quickly sent back an e-mail that the company is having a disagreement with the firm that constructs the parking page; I was told that the pages are either X-rated or they are not. I was also told that they hope to have a resolution shortly.
My question to you is, would you wait for the so-called resolution, or would you switch to NameDrive.com? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
