Hi,
I (and my collegues) want to sell the domain name (and website) QuestForSugar.com.
--------------------------------
Description:
--------------------------------
The domains questforsugar.net, questforsugar.info, questforsugar.biz and questforsugar.org are also included.
Why the name QuestForSugar? The goal is to create a directory of the best of the best on the Internet. The goal is not to target quantity but quality. So, if someone is looking for something good on the Internet we could say that they are on a quest for sugar (a quest for something good). Does this make sense to you? One of the good things about this domain name is that you can split the website into sub-websites each with its own sub-domain name. For example, if you access the website now you will be redirected to webdevelopers.questforsugar.com (which should be in the future, if the goals for the website are achieved, THE WEBSITE where web developers go when they are looking for something good). We can have, for example, lawyers.questforsugar.com, architects.questforsugar.com, economists.questforsugar.com and so on.
That's right, it's an ambitious project!
The website (which is developed in ASP.NET and supported by a MySQL database) has an integrated Content Management System, which means that you can easily add, update or remove any content from the website (for example, even the contents of the 'Privacy policy' page are dynamic) just by using forms (no need to edit the source code, create pages, delete pages, update links, and so on).
We struggled to make the website as user and search engine friendly as possible (that was one of the requirements when we developed the website).
The website hasn't been properly marketed yet nor has it been properly explored in terms of generating revenue (we are actually selling it because meanwhile we saw ourselves with other projects on our hands and simply can't handle all the work [that's right, we have other even better projects on our hands now
]).
--------------------------------
How much do you think we should ask for?
Antonio
