Hey Conan!

Based on the current wholesale value of LLL.org's of $185 I would peg this around $200 for the name alone. The VJ sounds nice, but doesn't particularly fit the extension tremendously well. Either way, I bet you got a great deal so congrats and good luck!!

I'm going with high $xx. IMO.

Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that this is a FREE appraisal. This is a guess at quick flip resale value not an unrealistic end-user price. Often times my appraisals are rushed, too low, or too high. Sometimes my advice is totally wrong and occasionally downright dumb. If the post stamp is after 5:00pm EST, the chances are even greater that inaccuracies will occur due to blood alcohol levels.

Oops, forgot to give this a friendly bump (with some insightful comment ofc, lol), but what did it get in the end...?

Got your ROI back at least tho B-)

It ended at $141 which is a bit low. I would have expected a final price in the $175 - $200 range. This seems to reflect the current marked price for non-premium letters and follows the trend of decreasing prices in the 3 letter marked.

Sorry to hear you had a loss. I believe the buyer has five days to complete payment. However if the highest bidder does not pay I think the domain automatically is offered to the second highest bid as long as the bid met the reserve.

yeah, conan, i know, tough to swallow but it happens to all of us, like the other member said if reserve was met (or you had no reserve) sedo may offer it to the 2nd highest, bad new is....that bid is < $141, but....you'll do better next time, i thought that w/an LLL.org which had no terrible letters like Q, X or Z you'd be almost guaranteed $150 at least, bad luck, that's all....and yours doesn't even have a Y, W or even a U ! so if sedo doesn't give it to the 2nd highest, PM me, i'll do $150 ! (BTW, does sedo automatically offer it to the next highest if the winner doesn't pay...or is the seller asked 1st ? hmmm....not sure if it's a given, email them anyway if you're having a change of heart and just ask them if they'll let you off the hook even if it's in their rules it has to be offered to the next person, and if you do get off try it longer just on NP next time)

Yes you will, lol :imho: Better than No Profit though, eh? :snaphappy:

I hope you tipped off those leads I sent you...You did, right? ;)

From the site:-

How long does the buyer have to make payment?

Answer
We ask the buyer to remit payment within five (5) days of an agreement and creation of the payment request, with the aim of receiving the money within ten (10) business days. The exact timeframe varies due to the time it can take for money to be sent to and from different countries.

Any request to cancel the transfer should be discussed with your assigned transfer agent, as the method of payment and location of the buyer can affect the amount of time it takes to receive the funds. Your transfer agent will contact the buyer and inform them of the request to cancel the transfer and give the buyer 5 more days to reply and arrange payment.

Transfer agents can cancel sales in which payment is late and we've had no response from the buyer, although this happens rarely. After the initial payment request has been created, reminders are sent to the buyer whilst the payment is outstanding and the transfer agents will also chase the buyer for payment.

Sellers will be notified when the buyer has remitted payment. This information is available on the "Transfer Status" tab in "Transfer Overview" for the given domain sale.

way too long, i'm amazed sedo extends these courtesies to ppl who don't pay, when i've been on that side sellers have cancelled my transaction after 5 days exactly (to the minute auction ended) even if the payment center is malfunctioning, sedo doesn't care, or if was out of town & forgot, same thing ,or Sedo cancels them,

this is way too long, this winner most likely won't pay, my offer to buy at the price i said is still valid, so let me know, k !
