Putting videos on a site

hello, i was wondering for a website to place a video on its site is there any laws or agrements that they have to have before placing them there. im not talking bout music videos its just funny videos that are around on the internet, its just for abit of fun but is it legal and were can i get the videos from. thanks for your help in advance.

I am not sure if there any legal issues, but I had a site with a lot of videos about soccer, best goals, etc and I never had any trouble ... I think if you are small then nobody cares but if you start making money then people get jealous and try to sue for any single reason they can
