Please appraise, thanks

Thanks all for your insights and positive feedback! We are fortunate in that we've already gotten (and declined) offers in the $xx,xxx range ... Since we are in no rush to sell, we plan to hold out for the high $xxx, xxx range - which is supported by recent sales of similar four letter domains like Fish.com, Blue.com and Bike.com, to name a few.... We also agree with the group - Sports-betting is the perfect use for this premium name! Thanks again!

nice domain Lori... As you already know

And nice to see you here at NP... Again... :red:

I wouldn't put punt.com in the same category as blue, fish, or bike... It's just not a word that you hear/think of in every day life unless you watch football. Maybe I'm missing some other context, but that's the only time I've ever thought of the word.
I've never associated punt with betting, though that seems to be a british term.

Obviously if you have time to wait, hold out for more, but I don't think you'll get anywhere near the 500k that blue.com fetched.

I appreciate your opinion, and understand your point, but 'punt' is a very brandable term for many uses.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punt describes it as a gambling term in Australia and UK.

nice domain Lori... As you already know

Actually, this is Lisa (I'm a Dream Big Media partner and DBM owns the domain, with Lori of course)

Again, thanks for all the insight!
