Punctuation can be important!

An English professor wrote the words: "A woman without her man is nothing" on the chalkboard and asked his students to punctuate it correctly.

Males in the class wrote:

"A woman, without her man, is nothing."

Females in the class wrote:

"A woman: without her, man is nothing."


Punctuation is powerful!

With just a change of the punctuation used, the sentence takes on a whole different meaning. Do you see it now?
