Site looks pretty much standard, i'd consider a few effects, if you're specializing in photoshop, i'd like to see what photoshop can do, to know that you're a few steps ahead of me.
The sidebar where you have the tutorials, categories, nav bar, etc. duplicate the background and place the same sized bar on the right hand side of the page and place the Google ads inside in skyscraper format. It's the only way that i can come up with to integrate the ads and not destroy the integrity of the site.
Also, when you're already at the right hand side bar, i wouldn't stop with Google ads, but look at Amazon, etc. and sell hard copies of tutorials.
Otherwise, the site navigates easily, handles intuitively, with a few more visual enhancements and you've got a winner :tu: :tu:
Btw, i bookmarked you. Great Tutorials with great screenshots!
EDIT: on the left hand side, inside the sidebar, when you mouseover in the "Browse Category" you get a large grayed square once you mouse over the PS Tutorials,...i assume that's intentional?
