Would you pay to protect your domains from reverse hijacking?

  • No, even if it can be done, I wouldn't be interested.

Hi all

What would you be prepared to pay for some protection from reverse hijacking of your .tv domain names on a per name basis. Solution not suitable for .com.

I was thinking about the speed.tv decision in particular and I have an idea for a possible solution that I am currently progressing but it may be difficult (read costly) to implement. If there is enough interest I intend to get a legal opinion.

If it was priced cost effectively would you do it for all your domains or just some of them.

Would you do it if you had to donate 1% of future profits, say, to charity.

Please respond. Critical for discussions.

Note this solution would be focused at legitimate generic names intended for probable development not names that should be left to the rightful user like cnn.tv or similar.

For arguments sake lets say the solution would cost $50 per annum
