Let's say you have a trademark for a name and you have the .com/.net/.org versions of the trademarked name.

Like your trademark is for joeschooly and your domain name is joeschooly.com joeschooly.net joeschooly.org

What happens when your website becomes popular and someone then registers the .us .biz and wwwjoeschooly.com versions of your trademark.

Is it worth it filing a UDRP case, or should you go about it by other means?

What you probably oughta ask yourself first is will people bother to search for
your site using the other extensions. If the other sites' traffic is "negligible",
why bother?

Bu if principle prevails, then go! However, depending on how the other names
are used, what method you use to try to get the names, and a ton of other
details, you might or might not win.

That's kind of what I was thinking since the extensions they picked are not likely to get type-ins.

The one that concerned me most was the wwwjoeschooly.com typo version.

Do those usually get a good number of type-ins (like wwwyahoo.com?)

I think that's the only one that could cause me problems if people make that typo mistake often and they do something shady with the name.

Looks like they are just using a parking service at the moment.

This UDRP will give you some clues. But note that the respondent's non-reply
helped the complainant win.

interesting info, thanks Dave.

It's also interesting to note that the registrar is the same in that case and in my situation (different registrant).
