I just bought this as my first premium domain and wanted to get feedback from people who know better than me.
Even though it's an adverb, it's a word that people actually say. It seems like a good name for the marketing industry, which is why I bought it.

I was asking GoDaddy for some quotes on other adverb domains and they were priced much higher than this. The broker told me to not draw attention by asking for a discount because prominently was priced so low, though I still got one. Not sure if they were being truthful in this or just trying to get me to buy, but I also thought it seemed a bit low, so I bought anyway. I've seen infinitely worse domains sell for more.

Thanks for reading.

Yes. Not bad. "It featured prominently" is a common expression. I wouldn't call that price so low, but it's a decent domain. The adverb is a bit vexing but otherwise I think you did well.

Best of luck.

Thank you for your feedback, quite helpful. I should've been more clear - I bought it to use for my own business, not resell.

As long as the price was fair, I only bought it in hopes of the one word domain conveying authority to the average person. (they assume the company is bigger than it really is) I'm more concerned about it being 4 syllables than an adverb for that purpose, since adverb naming is/was a pretty big trend.

I was using a much shorter "usecompany.com" prefix domain and thought it read worse than a longer word because people will forget the URL or think 'Use' is part of your brand. Also, I think using a prefix to lay claim to a common word is kind of lame when you don't have a massive budget to make it synonymous with your company, but that's just me. (someone bigger could buy the exact match, then you're screwed)

$25 to $150 = Reseller Value Speculation (NOT an end user speculation)

I've seen dozens of your ridiculous lowball posts. By all means, share your advice for buying one word domains for $25.
