What work is involved in running the site, would the new owner just host and update it, and watch the money come in. Or is there work involved in processing the orders ect,

Since the site is an actual business concern, yes, there is work. Degree of involvement is up to you.

For example;

The new owner can choose to:
1. Run the business on his own (I will show him/her all aspects of current operation etc.)
or
2. Use the services of the present staff to handle processing orders, shipping & following up with customers. (New owner to oversee management responsibilities, and fund the business, marketing, etc. All profits go directly to you, of course.)
or
3. If you want to do as little work as possible, direct the site to an affiliate program. Because of the exposure this site receives, I have done very well with a number of affiliate programs. E.g. I just joined one about 12 days ago that I thought would do well because it was very targeted. I was right. My affiliate commissions already show almost $160. And I didn't do anything, I just placed a link!

Personally, I would like to see the business continue.

But it is your call, if you were to acquire this property.

Pls make me an offer and I will seriously consider it.

But keep in mind :

- that the business can and is already making $12K - $15K a year. (Can easily be much more if there are new marketing / advertising programs in place.)

- the value of a visitor. If, according to Overture, it costs $0.10 to get a visitor to your site, then to obtain 50,000 unique visitors a month (which is what VCDgallery.com is getting now), you would have to spend $5,000 a month or a staggering $60,000 a year!
But now because the website is well established, we are getting that many visitors with a current advertising budget of zero. I'm not kidding.
