Problems with registrar

Hi

I have a load of domains that are with a certain registrar (firevision) who have gone into liquidation.

This may sound silly but I have not got a full list of domains I have with them (and the site seems to have been taken down). Does anyone know of anyway to either look up domains by owner ie address or name. Or is there a way to look up domains that have a certain IPS tag.

in all honesty it is my own fault, I found out they went into liquidation last week but didnt act fast enough.

Most of the domains there I will allow to drop as I dont use them but some I need back I just want to make sure i'm not forgetting any domains.

Have you checked your credit card (or other payment method) history?
It may indicate the domain name and registrar the payment was made to.

Did the domains have certain nameservers set for the domains, like a parking page of some sort or to your server?

most nameservers are set to my server which is how I have remembered most of them.

If I were you, and the name servers are just ones you use you might want to do a search on Whois Source and then see some of the domains that are hosted on that server or ask someone on the forum to do it for you that has a silver membership. Maybe this could help you out a bit using the reverse IP feature, but I was never in such a situation so try it out.

in all honesty I would personally stick with the big names such as enom (or of course their resellers (hint hint)).

Even if the reseller goes down your domain is still in the hands of a competent registrar,

The thing aout firevision is that the never even bothered to let ppl know the company went bankrupt they just let ppl find out themselves.

the only reason I found out wa sbecause i posted a message warning people not to deal with them, someone had a look on the companies house database (which I dont have access too) and found they had been forced into liquidation.
