the other side note, looking back at my 2k mark in pro.tv thread, we also didnt know the amount of traffic the name had, the revenues and type in traffic. so my estimate was low and having had more info on traffic, i would have it a lot more.
so having some info:
37 dollars its earned in less then a months time but will say 40.00 for easy math in my head (some months will be higher, some lower)
40 x 12 months= 480 a year in ppc parking revenue
5 years = 2400
6 years = 2880
now you can throw in generic value and 3 letter .tv name value thats reg fee. the ctr was low running at 14 percent as well.
from a domainer view this gives you an indication view imo on things plus the reg fee name that would boost up the value on pro.tv imo.
from james view point since he is a developer and sees a powerful business model on this, he wanted the name, im sure he paid high for but the traffic is all ready there and traffic will only increase from his website development skills.
so yes, im sure he had to pay up on this but imo james will look back at this and reflect in the future and just be laughing to the bank with this generic killer 3 letter .tv name and best of all reg fee lol... enom messed that one up..
i would say a domainer buyer would pay upwards of 4k
developer 4k to 7k and knows what he or she is doing
just an idea to think about-the traffic is nice!
