Do you have a link to something that refers to this seller being this company...please provide it if so..

It appears they are only selling names with appraisals by SecureNameSale...

As most are aware any appraisal claims require buyer due diligence and common sense.

hmmm.... I'm new at this. Are you serious that securenamesale.com is not a good site to get your domains appraised? What is a good site? I only put those listings because I thought that would add credibility but it seems to have done the opposite.

Did someone contact you saying they were interested in buying one of your domains, but first they want you to get an appraisal from ####.com?

If so you may have been taken advantage of.

Sorry to hear a bout this misfortune. I would recommend checking your names in the appraisal section here. It is free, and some of the members are solid appraisers with loads of experience.

domainforsale....I will say it one more time....
There is no appraisal company/individual that can give you an exact value of a domains' worth. They may talk like they can....but they can't. They are opinions and nothing more, but many times a very good tool.
Look at your appraisals as just one tool in evaluating your domains value. No experienced domainer relies on this alone when determining the value of a name.
I have offered names here for $150 that no one was interested in and then sold them to end users for $2000+.

Remember.....You haven't done anything wrong here.

Sometimes it just takes time, research and experience.
I buy names that I like and makes sense to me....nothing else matters to me.
Others use traffic...revenue...OVT as their guideline to evaluation...

I hope you don't get down on yourself over this. All of us have had moments.
There are many resources on this forum that will help you in the future to make informed decisions....jump in and start using them....
