I don't see pregrid as a word on dictionary.com.

So I guess around reg fee unless there is someone whos looking for it, then low to mid $xxx maybe if you are lucky. It is .com after all.

And it is an actual word... Can't say why Dictionary.com doesn have it. In fact, I just went through a dozen online dictionaries and can't find it anywhere. I may have stumbled onto the only WORD that isn't a recognised WORD. LOL!!!

PreGrid is a racing term for staging to race. There is "Grid" which is the standing start to a race or the term for the cars when they are "in grid" during a rolling start. But before that, the drivers report to the staging area to be let onto the track. This area and formation is known as "pregrid".

Do a search for the term "pregrid" and you will get tons of hits regarding NASCAR, Formula One, etc. Pregrid is a very popular term and word around motorsports.

No Overture results here in America, so it's not a term that's being searched for. Fairly low Google results at around 10,000 and some of those results have nothing to do with racing. If only Nascar or racing fans know the term, then the domain will have little value without a good website.

BTW, is this your domain and is that your website at pregrid.com?

Yes it is... Just wanted to get a general impression and value assessed by this market compared to the return I'm seeing through the domain. It's alwasy interesting to note the sometimes great variance between what a site is actually making versus what name buyers say its potential is. Besides, I kinda wanted to know if/what value it may have if I sell the company this fall, I'd be left with the domain in that case and nothing more to do with it.

It's working out pretty well though, over 50 drivers represented and some big name sponsors on board like Rockstar Energy Drink.

No... the interested buyer already has a domain and branded name. My represented Drivers, the "inventory" would simply be changing hands.

We never spoke about the domain. My company name wasn't going either.
