Hi,
I think the full word 'pregnancy' and 'test' are the words most would expect. The abbreviation coupled with the word 'kit' sounds a bit coarse to me.

I am also a pharmaceutical business man, I know all test through kits use word kit. Always brand establish as malerikit, such as for pregnancy kit used pregkit. Pregnancy kit is too large but pregkit is more brandable with easy pronounceable for non English spoken
