I like it, it's brandable and begs for development. However in the short run without dev, you could only sell it for low-mid xx I guess. Much more with development.

Appreciate the response.

It's interesting that it's pretty much always appraisals at a low figure like $xx "unless developed." I understand the concept, but I can't agree with it. I am selling many, similar names, with no development and no traffic for between $500 - $1000. Names like BatteryBuyer.com, AdSupply.com, YouthSkin.com and the like. I'm sure if I had mentioned those in this forum they would have also been "$xx unless developed."

"'Screams For Development'" does say it all..
i would go with a site reviewing ppc sites and affiliate programs

people should do two types of appraisals.. one for resellers and one for the "end user"
which in short is the person that will end up with it and develop the site..

Wish I had the time--it's not cost-effective. I do better spending time picking up great domains. And, I'm spending all my development time on my site SexRobot.com (which is kicking ass, thatnk you very much:) ).

I agree with the others, low xx without development. Based on the examples you've given (i.e., BatteryBuyer), there's a difference.. ppcsense is not immediately intuitive to a large segment of the intended audience without branding and development. I appreciate what you intended, but I think it needs development for real value.

They're essentially saying it's a brandable name as opposed to a generic name. Certainly you have a CHANCE at selling PPCsense.com for more than $xx, as an end user could choose to buy it and pay $xxx or more. The other names you mentioned are more generic than brandable, and as such have an easier time selling undeveloped because people are searching for the generic phrases and not the potential brand names. No one is searching for "PPC sense" and it's not an established phrase (as the sub-100 Google amount shows), hence it being a brandable name as opposed to being a generic name. The best names are obviously both brandable and generic, but they're not always easy to find.

Anyhow, I do think that people here have a tendency to not mention that they think "low $xx unless developed" because it's a non-generic brandable name, which leaves many people wondering "wtf" I'm sure. Don't forget that people here can also be wrong too. I posted a name a while back that was IMO both generic and brandable. People were appraising it as a non-generic brandable despite search and google definitely indicating otherwise, that it was a commonly used generic phrase in addition to the obvious potential it had for a website. They appraised my name undeveloped for $xx to low $xxx, and not only do I believe it's at least low to mid $x,xxx, but people were bidding low $x,xxx along with me in the drop-auction I got it on! So it's certainly okay to disagree with appraisals here, as IMO they certainly can be wrong, my own given appraisals included!

By the way, I too like your name! I personally think it would be the perfect name for a how-to site on ad placement, and that such a site wouldn't be hard to develop.
