Just like everyone else said, the plural of "poker" diminishes the value on this domain greatly. Reg fee, IMHO.

Ok thanks for the feedback. I see what your talking about. I was thinking that poker forums indicates several different forums for poker, but Poker's forum indicates the main forum for poker. The "s" does diminsh the value a little, but was thinking this is definitely a brandable name. An adult forum is definitely a possiblity too.lol

Ok I did a little research. In overture in oct. pokers gets 21166 there are various other adult names with pokers in it getting ovt. that i won't add but you can use your imagination :hehe:

I would like to add i sold foxscasino.com at sedo for low xxx. So the 's isn't always bad, but thank you for your feedback. I will definitely take this into consideration when i'm registrating another domain name.

Tell me what I should do...

I made an offer on the name for 100.00 becuase I thought that is was pokerforums.com. I am blogged with 300 emails a day and between multitasking I told him 100.00.

of course I want to use it as a forum. Should I back out or pay him...

If I were selling a name, and the person who "bought" it didn't realize it wasn't what it was, I wouldn't hold them to it. It is up to them, since you made an offer. Whatever the outcome, I'm sure you've learned a valuable lesson.

BTW, you should probably PM the person first, then make your own thread instead of posting on theirs.

$100 ain't terrible for the name...The S is a real knocker on it's value. We all know that pokerforum.com would be worth high $xxxx or more. I would say that 1 S doesn't make it worthless...$25-$250 value. For $100 I think it would be easily sold. I might even buy it.
