Any interest to .POKER or is it just in the rear?

I see some limited use of this for gambling sites and those can make a pretty penny but other then that, I have nothing.

What do you guys think?

I personally think there is probably a handful of really good .poker domains out there. Odds are, the registry has all of them reserved and priced extremely high so they can make the profit from them. With that in mind, I don't see much happening with .poker, even though I enjoy playing the game myself!

I don't see much, if any potential in resale to casinos or online casinos whether US facing legal ones, or offshore sites. There might be some good affiliate names that could be developed if that's what you're in to.

Confession. I did break down and pre-reg a .poker this morning but not sure if I'll get it. I went with a generic LLL, wasn't many good ones left from what I could see.

I got 2(elite. and professional.) and have another 2 on namejet due to multiple applications. I received an email for the auctions about 2 hours ago.

I wondered when I added privacy why it would only display the 2 year option. I'm pretty sure they only charged for 1 year but I'll need to check my account. Odd but nothing that can't be corrected.

Actually online poker is still strong, several US states have legal online poker.
