Domain is good, but extention is bad. So, low $xx

As you probably know poker names are very hot right now with the explosion of Texas Hold Em'.

1) The domain has good industry use.

2) It is easy to rember therefore has good name awareness

3) 11 chars. in length is great. I typically like to see domains in the 0-12 char. length so this fits perfectly

4) .info extension is very weak IMO and hurts you here.. but they are gaining popularity.

5) Keyword poker very strong

6) Needs developed to be more unique

I would say you are probably looking in the low to mid $xx.

I agree with CDDC's perspective, but believe the strength of the name will bring a three-digit price, not two. I wouldn't be surprised if someone buys it as a secondary site or a pointer to their already existing poker/gambling site. With a better extension, it would have been monster.

I agree that your domain might not be great now because of the .info extension, but I do think that .infos are seeing and will see more appreciation in the near future (similar to many other extensions currently on the rise).

I think MasterPoker.info would be a very nice developed site for whatelse, how to master poker (maybe all the different types). I see a potentially great site, the value is all in the design/content.

It's along the same lines as what (I think) your intending: A site about learning to master poker. This is a LONG term development project for me. As I get better at poker, the site becomes more credible, obtains a bigger audience, becomes more valuable. I've already got off to a pretty good start.

I think with so many poker sites about, you need to have an edge of the majority. Although mine is in it's very early stages, I am focusing on:
- Quality of content
-Ease of use (navigation, etc)
-GOOD quality links to GENUINE poker sites (not bl**dy link farms and pages of ad's)
-Nice, simple, clean look.

So far I've a lot of very positive feedback. 6 weeks old and 80-120 uniques per day.

Hope this is food for thought.

I'm afraid I can't appraise- I'm a total newbie at domain names- I don't think my opinion would be informed enough. Your domain name "sounds" good to me, but I wouldn't know where to start with a value.
