Poker affiliate question

Not sure if this is the right forum so if it's not mods please move to correct place.

I had a poker affiliate site that was doing quite well and I deceided to take it down because of all the talk about banning internet gambling. Do you guys think affiliate sites are included in this whole mess?? My first thought was actual gambling sites (the big players partypoker etc.) but I don't want to risk it over a couple of bucks a month. If anyone knows the answer (i have yet to find one) please let me know.

No a poker affliate site would not have any issues with the laws. the law is agianst gambling it isn't against advertising Honestly all the big gaming sites are located out of the states and all your doing is providing links. If I was you and your still making money go for it

You can still promote the sites as you are not taking any payments over the internet from gamblers. As you may be aware BetOnSports has closed down fopr now as there CEO was arrested well this was because they kept on accepting bets for American citizens.

Poker affiliates dont have anything to worry about the big poker site affiliates mostly stay in america and there not worrying and there hitting 100K a month.

I was under the impression that if you took many from the poker sites for sending players there way, I could be charged with aiding and abetting. Also, what about when a player makes a deposit and you take a percentage (a commision) from each deposit? Some poker sites work that way as well.

You are taking money from the poker sites you arent betting or taking bets.

i work by taking comission on sign ups as most do rev share and as far as i know not many affs are panacking.
