PM Inbox Unread message total incorrect

This is a bug we've had since upgrading our server with PHP5. I don't know what specificially is causing the bug, so if anyone is familiar with vBulletin and has an idea please let me know. .

Ron, i experienced this over at the 'Other' domain forum and it was fixed somehow.

Perhaps ask them?

Actually it hasn't been fixed at the "other" domain forum as I am also receiving that error over there for my account..

They are supposed to be having their technician look over it though...

I do agree that if they could figure it out, asking them how they fixed it would be a good move.

They shouldn't be that bent on competition that they will not disclose a little bug fix to another related forum.

Problem hopefully fixed.

The only lingering issue may be some users whose PM boxes say "1 unread" message when they no longer have any unreads.

Reset your unread PM total to 0 with this link,
