Please take a minute to pray for my Brother please.

My youngest Brother TJ was in remission for two years (Hodgkin's lymphoma-cancer) - last week he noticed a lump back on his shoulder and we have been very afraid. He was in USA to visit my father and now has returned and I'm taking him to the hospital for biopsy.

I'm very afraid, but hope for the best. I hope they say their is nothing wrong and that my brother is okay. I went through 1.5 years of fight with him and was very happy when they told us he is free of cancer. I only want to hear these words one more time for ever.

I don't have any other friends online to turn to for prayers. We have had our differences at times, but I always want the best for all of us.

Stem Cell Transplant is the next and only option, 3 years ago I was a match. It should not have changed, got my blood test done again, waiting to hear back from the hospital. I really hope my Brother is cured with my stem cells.

What a bizzare world we live in, why did God include suffering for us all? Those of you with the religious answer, that we have sinned are really not that smart. What part of God's plan went wrong to include suffering and pain in his formula? Don't give me that bull shit sin theory that one man or women is responsible for the entire world!

All I know is that this world is CRUEL and so is the UNIVERSE!

First of all, i wish you and your brother all the best, i cross my fingers!!

I am not a religious person at all, heck some would say i am an atheist what i am not since i believe in something...first and foremost in my self and also in the fact there is something out there, not explainable yet by the human race... but i can feel your anger and i just have to tell you that i was in the same boat when my dad died, i felt so lonely, betrayed, cheated by the so called "religion,god" and actually that made me leave the church but over the years i came to one conclusion....:

Life is an everyday challenge, a challenge what throws problems at you constantly...and you have to master the problems, small ones, big ones, some you don't want handle, some even seem too big to handle but it boils down to one thing....if you handle them with respect, respect for yourself and for life and trust in yourself....you will be able to handle them all!!

How can you even say stuff like that?:o Look at all the members who have replied and wish you & your brother well. It's a beautiful world when strangers take one second to wish another stranger well. You have the stem cell transplant option which is a great thing.

I lost a family member to cancer a few years back and there was no such option for us. Even if there had been, my family would not have been able to afford it at the time.

Every single day is a day worth celebrating. Anyone can be taken from us at anytime; cancer or no cancer.

I'm not a traditionally religious person so I can't help you there ...

Of course you're angry. Be angry. Yell. Scream. Curse. Throw things. You need to do that right now.

Then put one foot in front of the other and do whatever you have to do, wherever that path takes you. If you're a match for your brother, you have a precious sliver of hope that many others aren't given. If it's successful, you and your brother will have received an amazing gift, even though you both had to walk through fire to get it.

Either way, you'll get through this.

I just wanted to let everyone know, your prayers have given us a lot of HOPE. We found out today, that my youngest Brother who is fighting cancer is a 12/12 match to my bone marrow. This type of match usually is what you get from twins, it's great news for my family. Not to mention the Doctors from Harvard are doing their best to cure my brother, his PET Scan showed the chemo therapy is working well and that the tumors are shrinking. I went under surgery for my brother to transfer my bone marrow, it's been less then 3 months and the bone marrow transplant has failed my brother has relapsed.

4 time now, they say hodgkin's lymphoma is curable, so why is my brother not being cured? The whole medical system is corrupt, they don't do anything right these days, the bull shit radiation, chemo therapy is what is killing him! I'm just sick and tired of Doctors who say this will work and that, and fail to deliver results.
