We just launched a minor project called TastyFonts - http://www.tastyfonts.com/

We would appreciate any feedback you may have on the design or the concept.

It was just launched yesterday, so it is very much in its beta format.

The website is indeed slow to open which is most likely due to the heavy usage of images and a great deal of of scrypt. (adsense - tracker etc).

I would like to start of by suggesting that you place the stattcounter code near the bottom of your source code just above your </body> tag. This will help your page load a bit faster and it the code wont become a pain in the rear for spiders and bots.

The colour scheme that you have picked from your site does not blend well imho. Purple and orange just hurt my eyes I am afraid.

There are some good free tools on the web that you can download which will help you pick secondary colours that suit your primary color. Just search for color picking tools for example.

You have almost no content which makes ranking in the SERPS a lot more complicated. The two small paragraphs of text that you do have on your site is somewhat ruined by the heavy use of words in bold.

You can use keywords in <strong> tags if you have enough content to spread it out over. I dont know if you have been trying to hide keywords as I think you might have been doing so. Just play it straight as all blackhat seo will lead your site downhill very quickly.

Doing it the way you have done it leads to a certain form of keyword spamming (Google hates it) and looks unpleasant for to your visitors. It makes the website look very much the work of a complete amateur.

I would also keep the left and right sidebars the same lengths as they are not at this moment. By keeping the sidebars similar, your website will appear more pro and visually more appealing.

PS. You got almost no meta tags in place, Keywords Tag? etc

Hi, wincyclopedia, the download speed is o'k, but the site needs further development, I would suggest making the width of the boxes "search" and "subscribe" equal, and one more, when the links in the "Fonts by category" are pointed, they change the size and the whole block moves, it hurts my eyes. Good luck in improving your site.
