Hey guys, I am now seeking reviews on my new image upload site, http://storeitontheweb.com/. I know it is a very, very simple design obviously but I am really interested in if you think it is good for what the site does. My goal was to make it really easy and simple to use, by putting just an upload form on it and some ads (which is there now).

Do you think I should make a full out web design for the site?
Should I just make it more organized like some of the other image upload sites?
Are the Yahoo Ads placements effective in your opinion?

Thanks and I look forward to your feedback,
Matt

Very nice looking website.

I love the logo. It looks very professional, and warm. I also love the colours picked. Very nice.

The logo is good but I don't like the overall site. It makes me think of a search engine or something. Also, when your ad space is just as big or bigger than your website, you have a problem. I would recommend making this into a real site instead of a "simple upload site".

Hope This Helps,

Hey 170designs, here's my constructive criticism. ;)

I think the leaderboard Yahoo ads are slightly stretching your page lengthways (I can tell because it changes size when you click one of the other links.) You might want to slightly increase the other page's length.

You could always use a bit of CSS to make the textbox/browse button pretty.

Using content-based Yahoo ads with this type of website isn't the best of ideas, because you dont have any real text for it to base the ads on. Unless there's a specific reason for using that image to say the "3 easy steps", I would make it regular text.

Can you push the Home tab to the very end left, and the Contact Us tab to the very end right? It'll look a lot better (if you add the little shadow effect/image around the block, easily done with CSS too).

Other than those things, it looks very clean, and I love the logo.

The colors are off. I think the tabs should match your logo. Maybe make them dark blue and the highlighted one light blue? Also, if you have more ads than the size of your regular site, you have trouble. Eeek, double ads of the same type...I would never use this site.
