It's a completely new website, so any feedback would be really appreciated!

Consider having the content viewable by non-registered users. People don't like having to register an account to see what a site has to offer + you will lose out on substantial seo traffic by keeping everything behind a login.

Hmm that's an interesting idea. I will definitely consider adding a feature where guests can see recent postings and search through them.

Do you think until then it would be a good idea to put a little "tour" with some screen shots together? This way they can at least see the features available and what the site looks like on the inside.

As a whole your site looks good, but I think it would be perfect if you verify the coloration - add some colors of other tints except blue.

Good site. I agree with RazorNF about having more content viewable by visitors.

Also, I would suggest spicing up the home page with some graphics or fonts... it would make your content more attractive.
